Les Granges du Soleil in La Plagne is nestled in the surroundings of La Plagne's ski area, in a superb location. Facing the Beaufortain massif, it benefits from great snow, a very tranquil setting, amazing views and great sunshine. Situated at in the heart of the Plagne Soleil area, 100m from the nearest shops, this ski residence offers doorstep skiing (*) opportunities.
The residence was built by the acclaimed mountain architects MGM and houses 80 apartments in 4 chalets, with a central chalet for the reception area.
Les Granges du Soleil boasts a Spa and Beauty Centre with free access to the indoor heated swimming pool (12m x 6m), Jacuzzis, saunas, steam rooms and fitness room. Numerous facial and body treatments and massages are also available (payable). Bathrobes can be hired.
Facilities include a laundry room (payable), pool table (payable), luggage room, lifts, ski lockers with heated boot-dryers, covered parking (payable, max height 2.20m) and free Wi-Fi access in the main reception area and all apartments (free for first PC/handset). Bakery and catering services are also available to purchase.
The loan of cots, highchairs, bottle warmers, socket guards, changing tables (all on request, a cot & 1 highchair max per apartment), board games, raclette, fondue and pierrade sets is possible (subject to availability).
All apartments at Les Granges du Soleil are fitted and furnished to a very high standard of comfort and convenience. They all have a fully equipped kitchenette with 4-ring ceramic hob, multi-function oven, cooker hood, fridge, dishwasher, electric coffee-maker, kettle, toaster, mixer and steamer. All apartments have satellite TV, telephone (calls payable), heated towel rail and hairdryer in the bathroom and a balcony or terrace.
Please note: for any apartments/chalets that feature bunk beds, sleeping in the top bunk is not recommended for children under the age of 6 years old.
*This indicates that you can access to or from the slopes with ease (within 100m of the residence). This is subject to normal snow conditions in the resort at that time and to the individual skier's ability.
