Les Balcons des Aiguilles in La Toussuire is located at the foot of the ski slopes and ski lifts, therefore providing doorstep skiing(*). The nearest shop and restaurant are within 50m and the resort centre and all its amenities are 800m away.
Les Balcons des Aiguilles is composed of 3 chalets built in the traditional Savoy style using wood and stone, with just 27 apartments in total. The main 2-storey chalet (with lift) houses some apartments, the Spa area and the covered parking.
Facilities at Les Balcons des Aiguilles include free access to the indoor heated swimming pool and Jacuzzi (9m x 4m, open Sun-Fri 08:30 - 19:30), sauna and steam room (1 free session/apartment then payable), communal lounge area, luggage room, ski lockers, laundry room and covered parking (payable, subject to availability).
The loan of cots, highchairs, raclette sets, board games, irons, ironing boards and hairdryers is possible (subject to availability, baby equipment should be requested at time of booking).
The apartments at Les Balcons des Aiguilles are fitted and furnished to a very high standard of luxury. The interiors are spacious, sumptuous and well designed. They all have a fully equipped kitchenette with microwave/grill, 4-ring ceramic hob, coffee-maker and dishwasher, TV and a balcony or terrace.
Please note: Alcoves are usually not enclosed, have bunk beds and no window. For any apartments/chalets that feature bunk beds, sleeping in the top bunk is not recommended for children under the age of 6 years old.
*This indicates that you can access to or from the slopes with ease (within 100m of the residence). This is subject to normal snow conditions in the resort at that time and to the individual skier's ability. |
