Administration Coordinator

 

An opportunity has arisen for a permanent Administration Coordinator to lead a small team of administration assistants. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual.

Administration Coordinator - vacant from September 2015

The position of Administration Coordinator involves dealing with all pre-departure administration from the time a booking is confirmed.

The main responsibilities include:

Providing supervision to a small team of 2 administration assistants, organising rooming lists for all holiday components, dealing with accommodation stop-sales, liaising with suppliers when required, checking all booking elements, preparing and sending travel documentation packs to clients; updating the reservations system; dealing with outgoing mail. Other duties as agreed with directors will be discussed. These may include dealing with holiday inventory, reservations system set-up. Full training will be provided.

The ideal candidate will have:
Previous team leader or supervisory experience

Proven administrative skills

A very good attention to detail

A good telephone manner

Excellent customer service skills to both clients and colleagues alike

Good communication skills - verbal and in writing

Able to work under pressure and to meet deadlines

A positive can-do attitude

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook programs

A passion for travel and more specifically in skiing and snowboarding would be a clear advantage

A previous experience in travel would be a clear advantage

A sound working knowledge of French language is important

 

Job type:
Permanent, full-time

Hours:
9.00-18.00 Monday to Friday. Occasionally some weekend (Sat 10.00-16.00) during the highest peak periods. Lieu days are to be taken in agreement with your line manager.

Holiday entitlement:
28 days pa (including 8 bank holidays)

Sales & Reservations Manager

Sales & Reservations Manager

A unique opportunity to join our experienced team of French Alps specialists managing a small team of sales consultants, taking overall responsibility for the management of the team from setting targets, to coaching, recruiting, leading and motivating; always ensuring high levels of service are maintained for all three brands.

The Sales & Reservations Manager duties will include:

· Helping your team to achieve sales and productivity targets such as high booking conversion through staff motivation and the most effective sales practices
· Ensuring high client satisfaction with the service provided
· Ensuring that operational aspects are delivered
· Training (product and sales) and coaching new and existing members of the team
· Managing rotas, absences/holidays
· Liaising with the marketing team and the product team; reporting to the directors on a regular basis
· Sourcing and recruiting new members of the team

The Sales & Reservations Manager will require:

· An appropriate experience in a travel sales & reservations environment
· Leading by example in order to motivate the team
· A can-do attitude to problem solving
· An attention to detail
· Commercial acumen
· Good communication skills (written and verbal) in order to deal with clients direct
· Able to work under pressure
· Good computer skills and an experience in using a reservations system (any)

Desirable
An interest in skiing and knowledge of the French Alps is highly desirableFrench language skills would be an advantage although it is not essential

Job type:
Permanent, full-time.

Hours:
40 hours per week. Mostly 9.00-18.00 Monday to Friday. You will be required to work some Saturdays from 10:00 to 16:00 and some evenings 10:00-19:00 during high season and depending on the job’s needs.

Holiday entitlement:
28 days pa (including 8 bank holidays) based on full-time

Sales & Reservations Consultant

 

The main responsibilities of the sales & reservations consultant will be planning and organising your client's trip including everything from accommodation and transport to lift passes and ski school.

 

The role involves dealing accurately and effectively with telephone, email enquiries from clients; making reservations on a dedicated system, liaising with suppliers and managing client follow up (eg. ensuring all booking documentation is sent to clients). Maintaining a high level of product knowledge for all our destinations and featured accommodation is also an essential part of the job. Other duties as agreed with the team leader and directors will be discussed. These may include dealing with prices, making website updates, assisting with training new staff, sending out brochures and various literatures.
