Exciting times for La Rosiere,
Espace

!
The ski resort of La Rosiere was born on
23rd December 1960 with 1 ski lift, 1 ski
lift attendant, 1 hotel with a restaurant/bar and 1
ski instructor! It became an international ski resort
in 1985 when the new Italian link to La Thuile was opened. Since then
it has been transformed into a first class ski resort
without letting go of its traditions or village
atmosphere, and is one of Ski Collection’s most
popular ski resorts.
Every Sunday the Tourist office of La Rosiere will welcome you to
the ice bar especially created in the shape of number
50, where you can enjoy hot mulled wine or a warm hot
chocolate and find out the week’s activities
and events within the ski resort.
The local tourist office of La Rosiere can provide further
information on all these special events.

| The Skiing |
New for La Rosiere 2013/14: A six-pack is due to replace the slow Fort quad, making access to La Thuile in Italy quicker.
La Rosiere skiing is a perfect balance between easy and more technical runs with wide, long downhill slopes in the forest. There are good nursery ski slopes near the main village of La Rosiere and the blue runs just above are perfect for progression, making it a perfect resort for families with children and beginners. For intermediates the main La Rosiere ski area is a broad open mountainside offering straightforward red pistes. La Rosiere is the only ski resort in France to be able to offer you heli-skiing; it's hard to beat. Whether you are a skier or a boarder why not take part in an unforgettable trip with a La Rosiere ski holiday, offering you easy piste access, well prepared pistes, and a very well maintained resort.
Clients booking for pre or late season dates for La Rosiere should be aware that not all facilities in your chosen resort may be open - including some ski lifts. We would advise you to check the resort tourist office website or our Resort Opening Dates page for details before making a booking. |
