Train Services

Ski Train

For those of you who prefer to leave your car at home, train is a good alternative.

It's worth bearing in mind that if you take the evening train both ways then you may benefit from up to 8 days of skiing instead of the usual 6.

We can arrange two train options - direct Ski Train or Eurostar Beyond (with a change at Paris).

Private taxi transfers from the stations to resorts can also be pre-booked with us. View more details here

From 17 December 2011 to 14 April 2012 you can hop on the Eurostar ski train at St Pancras International or Ashford International and be whisked directly to the stations of Moûtiers, Aime-la-Plagne or Bourg-St-Maurice at 186mph! You can either travel on Friday evening (allowing you to spend all day on piste Saturday) or Saturday morning (arriving in time for an evening meal). Return Saturday morning or night. Please not these are NOT sleeper trains.

- Bourg St Maurice serves the Paradiski ski area (Les Arcs, La Plagne, Peisey-Vallandry), the Espace Killy ski area (Tignes, Val d'Isère), La Rosière and Sainte Foy ski areas.

- Moutiers is suited in the 3 Valleys ski area (Val Thorens, les Menuires, Meribel, Courchevel).

Outbound night train services run from 23rd January 2012 to 13th April 2012.

Outbound day train services run from 17th December 2011 to 14th April 2012.

Eurostar Beyond

This enables you to leave London on either the Friday evening or the Saturday morning with Eurostar direct trains from London St Pancreas (or Ashford International) to Paris and then take a connecting train.

London St Pancras International to Paris Gare du Nord: 2 hours 15 minutes.

We will advise you at time of booking of the best timetables, leaving plenty of time to change stations in Paris, as Eurostar arrives at Gare du Nord and the TGV/Express trains leave from Gare de Lyon. You have to make your own way between the two. Allow 1 hour for transferring by underground to Gare de Lyon).

Please note that TGV French sections of the itineraries via Paris can only be booked 3 months ahead of actual travel dates.
