Why is ‘a family ski holiday in France’ the perfect way to spend precious time with your family?

Different to the usual getaway, this is a chance for everyone to try something new and experience a new culture together.

The French Alps offer a unique family ski holiday experience because:

  • France has 7 of the top 10 interconnecting ski areas in the world
  • France has the most sophisticated ski lifts (spending €300m+/p.year on their infrastructures)
  • France has some of the most highly-qualified ski instructors
  • France is easily-accessible to the UK

Find yourself showing the little ones the ropes to the slopes, the etiquette of the pistes or simply relaxing in the spa knowing that they are having fun at the Kid’s Club.

For family activities, resorts in France offer plenty more than just skiing – how about tobogganing down the mountain together? Or going on a husky sledging day out? Or trying some tartiflette?

To ensure you get the most out of your week it's important to choose a resort geared towards families and children. To save you time we’ve put together a list of our recommendations.

Remember, it’s also important to check both UK and French School Holiday dates.
