Located in the quiet district of the lively resort of Val Thorens - Les Balcons, Chalet Val 2400 is 100m from the slopes but it is possible to ski back to the residence (*), however you would need to be of an intermediate standard. The nearest ski lift is a mere 200m away from the residence, whilst the resort centre itself is just a up to a 10 minute walk down hill (allow a little longer to walk back).
Chalet Val 2400 is a luxury residence built in traditional Savoyard style. There are 27 apartments witch offer outstanding views over the resort and slopes from their balconies.
The residence enjoys the use of the wellness centre at the adjacent Chalet Altitude and offers free access to the private indoor heated swimming pool and sauna (open between 10:00 - 20:00). Within Chalet Val 2400 there is a sauna which is also available to use. The residence also has a bar named the 'Red Fox' where snacks and a take away service is available. There is a supermarket and restaurants just 20m away. The residence also has its own private underground parking (payable locally), a laundry room (payable locally), Wi-Fi access, and ski lockers.
The loan of cot and high chairs is available (subject to availability and request).
All the spacious apartments at Chalet Val 2400 are fitted and furnished to a very high standard of comfort and convenience. They have a fully equipped kitchenette with ceramic hob, fridge, dishwasher, multi-function oven, microwave, electric coffee-maker, toaster and kettle. All apartments have a lounge area with open fire, satellite flat-screen TV, a telephone, Wi-Fi internet access and a balcony .
Please note: for any apartments/chalets that feature bunk beds, sleeping in the top bunk is not recommended for children under the age of 6 years old.
