Le Coeur d'Or is ideally situated just a 10 minute walk from the town centre, 800m from the TGV/Eurostar mainline train station of Bourg Saint-Maurice and 1 mile from the Arc-en-ciel funicular to take you to the slopes of Arc 1600 and beyond to the world's largest ski area of Paradiski in just 7 minutes.
The residence was newly built for the summer 2009 season by the acclaimed mountain architects MGM and is composed of 1 chalet building (with lift) housing just 40 apartments.
Facilities to make your stay enjoyable include a reception desk (where messages can be left and weather forecasts obtained), luggage room, ski lockers, an indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, steam room, wifi internet access at reception and in the apartments, covered parking (€15/car/day, max height 1.80m), bakery service (to be pre-ordered the day before) and laundry room (payable). For your convenience there is a small selection of shops on the ground floor.
The loan of board games, raclette and fondue sets, cots, high chairs, bottle warmers, plug-socket covers and changing tables is also possible (subject to availability).
The apartments are fitted and furnished to a high standard which provides you with quality comfort and convenience. The fresh and inviting decor is luxurious and traditional with wood as always much in evidence. They all have a fully equipped kitchenette with 4-ring ceramic hob, multi-function oven, fridge, dishwasher, kettle, electric coffee maker and toaster, TV, telephone and balcony.
