L'Orée des Cimes in Peisey-Vallandry is a luxury residence located in the heart of Vallandry village with panoramic views over the valley. Positioned on the edge of the ski slopes, overlooking the Tarentaise and near the Grizzly chairlift, L'Orée des Cimes ski residence offers doorstep skiing*. The centre of the village is 300m away.
Built by the acclaimed mountain architects MGM, L'Orée des Cimes is composed of 5 traditional style chalets incorporating 106 apartments in total.
L'Orée des Cimes boasts a Spa and Beauty Centre with free access to the indoor heated swimming pool (12m x 5m), Jacuzzis, saunas, steam rooms and fitness room. Numerous facial and body treatments and massages are available, including high-tech Spa/Water Jets and Cellu M6 shaping treatments (all payable). Bathrobes can be hired.
Facilities at L'Orée des Cimes include a spacious lounge area with open fire, free Wi-Fi access in the main reception area and all apartments (free for first PC/handset), covered parking (payable, max height 1.80m), laundry room (payable), pool table (payable), ski lockers, lifts and luggage room. A bakery/catering service and breakfast kits are also available to purchase.
The loan of cots, highchairs, bottle warmers, socket guards, changing tables (all on request, 1 cot & 1 highchair max per apartment), irons, ironing boards, board games, fondue, raclette and pierrade sets is possible (subject to availability).
All the stylish apartments at L'Orée des Cimes are fitted and furnished to a very high standard of comfort and convenience. They all have a fully equipped kitchenette with 4-ring ceramic hob, cooker hood, fridge, dishwasher, multi-function oven, electric coffee-maker, kettle, toaster, mixer and pressure cooker. All apartments have satellite TV, telephone (calls payable), heated towel rail and hairdryer in the bathroom and a balcony or terrace.
Please note: for any apartments/chalets at L'Orée des Cimes that feature bunk beds, sleeping in the top bunk is not recommended for children under the age of 6 years old.
* This indicates that you can access to or from the slopes with ease (within 100m of L'Orée des Cimes). This is subject to normal snow conditions in the resort at that time and to the individual skier's ability.
