La Rosiere is built beside the road that zigzags its way up from Boug-St-Mauire to the Petit-St-Bernard pass to Italy.

La Rosiere has controlled development of buildings, so buildings are built using traditional methods and are in keeping with local taste.

La Rosiere has been awarded the Famille Plus Montagne label which guarantees high quaility facilities for children and their parents on holiday in the mountains.

Exciting times for La Rosiere, Espace San Bernardo !

The ski resort of La Rosiere was born on 23rd December 1960 with 1 ski lift, 1 ski lift attendant, 1 hotel with a restaurant/bar and 1 ski instructor! It became an international ski resort in 1985 when the new Italian link to La Thuile was opened. Since then it has been transformed into a first class ski resort without letting go of its traditions or village atmosphere, and is one of Ski Collection’s most popular ski resorts.

Every Sunday the Tourist office of La Rosiere will welcome you to the ice bar especially created in the shape of number 50, where you can enjoy hot mulled wine or a warm hot chocolate and find out the week’s activities and events within the ski resort.

The local tourist office of La Rosiere can provide further information on all these special events.
