Located in the quiet Les Balcons area of the lively ski resort of Val Thorens, 4* Chalet Val 2400 is just 100m from the ski slopes but it is also possible to ski back to the residence. The nearest ski lift is 300m away.
Located in the Les Balcons area of Val Thorens, Chalet Val 2400 is a 10 minute walk down hill from the resort centre and the Ecole de Ski Francais (ESF) ski school (allow a little longer to walk back!). There is a mini supermarket and restaurants just 20m away.
Chalet Val 2400 is a 4-star residence built in traditional Savoyard style. There are 27 self-catering ski apartments in total, all offering outstanding views over the resort and ski slopes from their balconies.
Facilities at Chalet Val 2400 include free access to a relaxing space (sauna & steam room - open daily 10:00 - 20:00), the 'Red Fox' bar where snacks and a take away service are available (open 16:00 - late), a luggage room, free Wi-Fi internet access (in all apartments) and ski lockers. The convenient bakery service provides daily fresh bread and croissants (payable, pre-order the day before for delivery to reception the next morning).
The loan of cots and highchairs (request at time of booking, cot mattress and linen not provided), raclette and fondue sets is also possible (all subject to availability).
Val Thorens is a semi-pedestrian ski resort, meaning you can drive through the resort and unload your luggage at your chosen apartment or hotel and then you must park your vehicle in the residences car park or one of the public car parks in the resort, you are not allowed to park in the street. Chalet Val 2400 has private underground parking (payable locally, max height 2.10m) or you can use one of the public outdoor or covered car parks (payable & pre-bookable).
All the spacious self-catering apartments at Chalet Val 2400 in Val Thorens are fitted and furnished to a very good standard of comfort and convenience. The interiors are very traditional, creating a cosy chalet atmosphere. They have a fully equipped kitchen with ceramic hob, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, electric coffee-maker, toaster and kettle. All apartments have a living area with a cosy Austrian wood-burner (1 bag of fire wood provided), digital flat-screen TV, Wi-Fi internet access and a balcony.

Fully equipped apartment, bed linen with beds made on arrival (except for beds in the living room: only bed linen and blankets are provided), towels with mid-week change (1 small & 1 large towel per person), 1 cleaning kit (tea towel, 2 dishwasher tablets, 1 sponge, 1 cloth, washing-up liquid & multi-purpose cleaner), end of stay cleaning (excluding kitchen area, dishes, bins & balcony), digital flat-screen TV, 1 sack of logs, ski lockers, Wi-Fi internet access (in all apartments) and access to the sauna (open daily 10:00-20:00).
- Refundable breakage deposit: €500/apartment (cash or credit card, American Express not accepted) - Please note no deposit, no keys!
- Local Tourist Tax: €2.47/person/day (18yrs+, guiding fare).
- Optional covered parking (height limit. 2.10m): €70/car/week.

- Extra logs: €7/sack.
Only one pet per apartment is allowed and will be charged €75/pet/week (payable locally). A valid passport for your pet is compulsory.
