Brand new for 2020-21, the apartments at Neige et Soleil are situated in the Grand Plan area of Les 2 Alpes with a good selection of amenities, bars and restaurants nearby. All apartments have a balcony or terrace as well as their own ski locker. Other facilities include free underground parking, free WiFi, as well as a wellness area with relaxation pool, massage nozzles, sauna, steam room and spa.
The 3-star superior apartments at La Residence offer accommodation in a lively neighbourhood of Les Deux Alpes - ideally situated just 250m from the nearest lift, surrounded by shops, bars and restaurants. Facilities include ski lockers and on-site parking.
This charming hotel, Chalet Mounier is the oldest hotel in Les Deux Alpes, originally opened in 1879! Well located at just a 2-minute walk from the Diable chairlift and the hotel itself offers a choice of two restaurants, one being the Michelin starred P’tit Polyte! Other facilities include a TV room, games room, spa, and lounge area with open fireplace.
The beautiful 4-star hotel Le Pic Blanc offers wonderful panoramic views of the ski domaine. Situated in Les Bergers area of the resort, the hotel is just a 5-minute walk away from the slopes. Facilities include the Terrases du Rif Briant restaurant, Chartreuse bar, as well as a wellness area with indoor pool (complimentary), sauna, and hot tub (both payable).
Opening for December 2020, the 4* luxury Alpen Lodge will be located in the Quartier des Eucherts area. This residence is close to the ski slopes, main chair lift and ESF ski school meeting point. The residence will offer luxurious apartments, modern facilities and access to an indoor heated pool. A hot tub, sauna, steam room and fitness room are all also planned.
Chalet Violette is a partly catered, modern chalet found in a great ski-in/ski-out location - between Bellecote and Belle Plagne. The fully equipped chalet sleeps up to 12, with beautiful south-facing balconies, infrared sauna, and locally sourced breakfast delivered each morning! Guests can also enjoy the wellness facilities at the nearby Hotel Carlina.
Located between Bellecote and Belle Plagne, Chalet Hugo is in an optimal position, ski-in/ski-out and just 10-minute walk from the nearest shops, bars, and restaurants. The beautifully appointed chalet can sleep up to 12 guests, is offered on a partly catered basis and features an outdoor Swedish hot tub, as well as an infrared sauna.
The 4-star Chalet Juliette offers comfortable and modern ski-in/ski-out accommodation - straight out onto a blue run at Belle Plagne 2000! Sleeping up to 14 guests, this stylish chalet is situated just a 10-minute walk from the nearest shops, bars, and restaurants and offers a number of additional benefits, including; an outdoor Swedish hot tub, champagne greeting, private ski room, and grocery delivery service!
ELECTRIC WINTER MTB
Experience the ski area differently this season with the new winter mountain biking tours in Les Deux Alpes. These specialised MTB are electric-assisted and equipped with studded tires especially for winter conditions. Suitable for all abilities, with a 400m elevated course for those wanting more of a challenge!
ECO STATUS FOR RESTAURANT
The bistro Le Diable au Coeur, found on the slopes of Les Deux Alpes, has been awarded the Ecotable label. Established in 2020, the Ecotable label recognises restaurants following sustainable practices, such as incorporating local produce and reducing food waste.
GLACIER SKI AT SUNSET
Enjoy the glacier of Les Deux Alpes while the sun goes down! The activity is returning this winter, with skiers embarking on an atmospheric descent from above 3,000m altitude combined with a rustic dinner! Available during school holidays.
ISERE AGED WINE
Restaurant manager of le Refuge des Glaciers, Clement, has embarked on his latest venture to age wine in Les Deux Alpes. Clement will be offering tastings of the high-altitude barrel-aged wine during the winter season!
SKI LIFT UPDATE
Upgrades have been made to the Marais chairlift, making it an express lift, with an estimated journey time of 8 minutes and 20 seconds. The lift links the Aiguille Rouge (which is above Tignes 1800) to the Aiguille Percée.
You can now try "Human Bowling" Zorbing in Tignes! Reach up to 50km/h whilst hurtling down the zorbing track harnessed in a ball (solo or duo) and knock down as many inflatable skittles as possible!
MICHELIN STAR DINING
Now known as the highest Michelin starred restaurant, Le Panoramic Grande Motte is found in Tignes, at over 3,000m altitude and accessed by the funicular railway. Chef Jean-Michel Bouvier has created a cosy atmosphere for gourmet dining; traditional Savoie dishes, using quality ingredients, cooked over a wood fire!
UPGRADED SKI LIFTS
Upgrades have been made to the Arpettaz chairlift and the Grand Plan chairlift, allowing for an increase in capacity on the routes. The passenger capacity on the Arpettaz lift has increased to 3000p/h and the Grand Plan to 2000p/h.

NEW FAMILY FUN AREA
The Friendly Natural Park offers you and your family to get to know the local wildlife better. This fun area is dedicated to the animals living in the Vanoise National Park, such as; Black grouse, golden eagle, rock ptarmigan, and the famous marmot! Learn about these animals and their habitat from the terrace, or enjoy the fun run with some challenges along the way!
NEW DINING EXPERIENCE
Get a takeaway raclette kit from the Peuf Daddy restaurant, which offers Savoyard specialities and bistronomic dishes using fresh, local, artisanal ingredients. Kits are avaolable for two or four people, and include a cheese melter, AOP cheese, selection of regional cooked and cured meats, potatoes, local wine and gherkins.
FREE KIDS SNOWBOARDING
The ESF French Ski School in Val Thorens is running beginner snowboarding sessions for 4-6-year-olds. The “Mini Riders” course gives little ones a safe introduction to snowboarding in the kindergarten area, whilst under the supervision of instructors.
NEW CHALET DINING EXPERIENCE
“Le Caribou” slopeside restaurant has introduced a series of new Finnish-style chalet pods (known as Kota) to its panoramic terrace. Make yourself at home and get cosy in your own dining space, whilst enjoying the stunning scenery.
ECO UPGRADE TO ICE-DRIVING
Val Thorens is the first ice-track in France to introduce a fleet of 100% electric vehicles. This exhilarating activity offers an extraordinary experience not to be missed by thrill-seekers!
The new installation is located at the Place Péclet (at the top of the resort) on 400m² of completely natural ice! There's also a chalet offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere to enjoy crepes and hot chocolate.
NEW GO-KART ON ICE
A specially dedicated driving school has opened this winter, offering a chance to try go-karting on ice. Budding drivers will be trained in special ice-driving techniques for controlling a 270cc go-karts during a thrill-packed 2hr 30min lesson. Included in the session: how to pull off a controlled slide, applying the right pressure to the pedals, and maintaining stability.
UPDATE TO A FAMILY FAVOURITE
The well-loved Piste des Animaux has received a makeover, combining both fun with education., Get to know the local wildlife, using all 5 senses to recognise ibexes, chamois goats and marmots, with useful tips to identify their tracks, calls and coats. A must for the whole family to enjoy together and is even accessible to non-skiers thanks to the footpath running alongside it
FREE FITNESS TRAINING
Shapen programme is offered by the Courchevel Village ESF, with a new video training system tailored to snowsports. The programme has three difficulty levels: beginner, advanced and expert - suitable for everyone!
