Skiing in Flaine

The ski resort of Flaine is located in the Haute-Savoie region, close to Mont Blanc and is part of one of the largest skiing areas in France: the Grand Massif.


The lively resort of Flaine, already attracts lots of ski enthusiasts with its impressive 265kms of linked and prepared runs and the “Cascades Piste” which is a staggering 14kms long! The skiing area connects Flaine with 4 other ski resorts: Les Carroz, Morillon, Samoens and Sixt Fer-a-Cheval. With one of the best snow records in the French Alps, Flaine is very often called “big snowy bowl”, therefore, you will enjoy a beautiful landscape while skiing or snowboarding.


During the evenings in Flaine, there are plenty of activities to entertain you after a day skiing. Indeed, you will have the choice between going to the swimming pool, cultural centre, cinema, video games arcade and much more. Flaine also offers all the amenities you will need, from the supermarket and the bank to bars, restaurants and shops.


In total there will be 7 residences in the list of Flaine accommodation in the winter 2012/13 season, including the brand new Le Centaure, which is a 4 star residence, located close to the shops, restaurants and amenities.
