Our Christmas ski holiday prices include a return Eurotunnel crossing or you can book accommodation only. Prices for our self-catered ski holidays are per apartment (irrespective of the number of guests) and there are no under-occupancy supplements.

Christmas dates
Most of our properties over Christmas will be Saturday to Saturday. A few of our accommodations will be offering Sunday-Sunday stays over Christmas and New Year as well. The main Christmas week will be Saturday 24th December until Saturday 31st December (but not including the eve of 31st).

Extra nights at Christmas
Selected properties often offer the chance to enjoy an extra day of skiing at Christmas. For Christmas 2022, some accommodations will be offering 8 for 7, usually arriving on the Friday eve before your stay.

From accommodation only to a package holiday, you can customise your Christmas ski holiday with added value services:
Ski Extras: ski hire, ski lift passes, ski school and spa treatments
Travel Arrangements: self-drive package, en-route hotels, ski train, private taxi transfers and car hire. Although we don’t book flights, we have flying information for the French Alps.
Christmas Snow Record
All our resorts have a snow range above 1500m (around 5,000ft). Altitude is however not the only important factor.
Micro-climate. Some areas like the Grand Massif (Flaine) benefit from a micro-climate because of their close proximity to Europe’s highest peak, Mont-Blanc. These areas have a much more reliable snow record than other resorts at the same altitude or even than some higher-up.
North-Facing Slopes. Other important factors for good snow are North-facing slopes as whatever cover they get will simply last longer. What lies below the snow cover is also of importance: a few centimetres will be enough to ski on pasture whereas more will be required to cover a rocky surface.
Snow Cannons. Finally, resorts that have snow cannons to cover the lower slopes (generally the nursery slopes) offer a good guarantee. These will normally run at night from early December to top-up on natural snow cover.
