There is a small selection of shops, bars and restaurants 150m from Alpinea and the main resort centre of Meribel-Mottaret is a 20 minute walk away but can be easily reached via the free Chalets cable car or the free resort shuttle bus.
The particular self-catering ski apartment we feature at Alpinea is number C04. The apartment was completely renovated during 2014. The interior décor is traditional and cosy, with high quality fixtures and fittings and solid wood furniture throughout. The floors are wooden and tiled.
Some of the many benefits of choosing to stay in a privately owned ski apartment are: personal touches, more of an “at home” feel, good value for money, independence and privacy, experience the “real” French ski holiday and floor plans/photos of your exact ski accommodation.
Alpinea C04 is a 1 Bedroom Alcove Apartment Sleeping 6 (c 30m2): It features an alcove with bunk beds in the entrance hall; 1 bedroom with a double bed; living area with pull-out sofa bed sleeping 2, TV and South-West facing balcony; fully equipped kitchenette with electric hob, combi-oven, fridge and dishwasher; bathroom and separate WC. There are also ski lockers and a lift within the residence.

The high quality, family-run 4* Hotel AlpenRuitor enjoys the best ski-in/ski-out position in Mottaret, just 25m from the ski school meeting point and 35m from the lifts/nursery slopes. Through its unique Alpine décor, the hotel exudes a wonderful, well-established feel, complemented by the friendly, helpful staff.
The 3* residence is just 300m (10 minutes walk) from the ski lift hub from which depart the "Pas de Lac", "Plattieres" and "Combes" ski lifts - connecting you to the rest of the 3 Valleys ski area, the biggest ski area in the world.
Situated 10m from the ski slopes, there is ski-in/ski-out access (snow and level depending) from the residence via the bottom of the red 'Aigle' slope. This leads onto the 'Pas de Lac', 'Plattieres' and 'Combes' ski lifts, which take you out of Mottaret and into the rest of the 3 Valleys ski area.
3* Serac is a privately owned apartment (7) located in the recently built Le Chatelet residential area of Meribel-Mottaret. Positioned in a quiet and peaceful setting, Serac is 250m from the slopes and 680m from the nearest ski lifts.
