The wide range of facilities here include a lounge bar with open fire, Le Deck terrace for lunch or après-ski; a 500m2 wellness/spa area with indoor pool (and superb mountain views), indoor and outdoor Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, Nordic bath, Solarium (all included with bedroom accommodation; 5 treatment rooms (supplement payable locally); there is also a fitness centre, library lounge, separate smoking room with panoramic view, and a covered car park (supplement 24€/day, payable locally; maximum height 2 m.). Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel except in the Igloo Pod, a geodesic tent on the roof of Le Refuge, for a night close to the stars (supplement to be paid locally). There is a free shuttle bus service to the resort centre until 9pm. The hotel is on a red slope so its ski-in/ski-out convenience is unsuitable for complete beginners, it's also snow dependant.
Enjoy the half-board dinner menu at Le Base Camp, a casual, welcoming traditional restaurant. Guests can also follow the Head Chef Josselin Jeanblanc (awarded a Michelin star in 2017) for a discovery experience at the restaurant Les Explorateurs - please note this restaurant is not included in half-board.
Accommodation at the Hotel Pashmina le Refuge comprises 42 guest rooms and suites (up to 70m2) and 9 Cosy Home suites (of between 60 and 153 m2 – 1, 2, 3 or 4 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms (with shower and/or bathtub) surrounding the kitchen, dining room and living room).

The highly popular 3* Hotel le Sherpa enjoys a wonderful position in the quiet Plein Sud area at the top of Val Thorens (on Rue de Gebroulaz) with spectacular views over the resort and its peaks. Ski convenience is excellent: you put your skis on just 30m from the front door and ski through the resort for about a minute to get to the ski school meeting point (snow and level depending).
