The Avancher Lodge is a small residence of just 7 apartments, adjoining the Hotel Avancher (***superior) and enjoying the same ideal location in a quiet part of the resort on the Avenue du Prariond, yet just 450m from the resort centre, lifts and ski school meeting point, and 350m from the slopes; the shuttle bus stop is 50m away.

Extended and completely reconstructed for the 2017-18 season, the Avancher Lodge and Hotel Avancher have quickly established a loyal following and a reputation for being one of the best addresses in the resort. The reconstruction has been very successful, extensive use being made of the traditional materials of local stone and wood, but with some interesting contemporary additions. The atmosphere is one of relaxed well-being, and in particular, the staff are unfailingly friendly and helpful. Arrivals at the Avancher Lodge are on Sundays. Highly recommended equally for friends and families.

Guests of the Avancher Lodge may use the facilities at the Hotel Avancher which include a reception, lounge, spa with outdoor and indoor saunas, whirlpool and steam room (included), massage room and hairdressing salon (pay locally); atmospheric bar with fireplace; the very highly rated restaurant (closed on Monday evenings) serves an excellent 3 course half board dinner (not included for residence guests), as well as local specialities (their legendary raclette is not to be missed!), and an extensive hot and cold buffet breakfast (included for residence guests).

Free basic wifi (hi-speed available at 5€/day, payable locally); covered parking (payable locally, max. height 2.10 m).

All 7 apartments are tastefully decorated in a contemporary style, are spacious and very comfortable; all have 3 bedrooms (each with a double bed or 2 twin beds – please specify your preference when booking), fully equipped open kitchen with ceramic hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher; living area with satellite TV; 2 bathrooms; 2 wc.

Apartment types:

3 bedroom standard apartment 94-107m2: sleeping 6; some have an additional bathroom

3 bedroom apartment with fireplace 103m2: sleeping 6; fireplace in lounge; additional bathroom; on top floor

Prices include (2018/19):

Fully equipped apartment; use of the facilities at the Hotel Avancher as described; beds made on arrival; towels; mid-week clean; end of stay cleaning (except kitchen and washing up); welcome kit; breakfast daily.

To pay locally (2018/19):

Local tax 1.65€ person 18+years/night; covered parking 14€/night (max. height 2.10m); cautionary deposit 600€ (credit card or cash).
