A look across the webcams over February half-term showed plenty of blue sky and snowy slopes!
Here are our favourite resort webcam shots from the week with a quick glance at their family activity programmes.
Avoriaz is home to the 'Village des Enfants', an area in the heart of the resort designed by Annie Famose. The creatively themed leisure centre and ski and snowboard school have been approved by the “Jeunesse & Sport” government ministry for their suitability to families. The Village welcomes children from the age of 3 from 9:00 am. to 5:30 pm.
Courchevel is one of the many resorts we feature awarded with the 'Famille Plus' label. This means the resort is committed to welcoming everyone with entertainment for all ages, a full programme of family activities and shops and services for every need. The resort also has excellent childcare services run by professionals.
This season, the streets of Arc 1950 were decorated for the family carnival! There was unique acts, bright oufits and musical tunes! To keep the atmosphere going, the fantastic parade was followed by a children's ball.
A unique family-friendly experience is found above 2000m in Les Arcs, in a themed setting made entirely of snow and ice! The ice village holds an ice cave, igloo bar, bedrooms, dining areas and a dance floor area! There's also a terrace for a refreshing break on the Igloo’s deckchairs and, as of 2018, there's "The ArcTic Area" in a “Great North” environment with new activities.
Les Menuires was elected “Family Resort of the Year” by the jury of the Telegraph Group’s World Snow Awards at the start of the 2015/2016 season. The resort always has a host of activities to choose from including the recently-restored merry-go-round, a swimming pool with children's fun zone and a free tobogganing area with igloos, tunnels, slides and a snowball zone!
Peisey Vallandry is in a great position to make the most of Mille8 - the biggest family attraction in Paradiski! There's a forest discovery trail, a lit-up musical toboggan run, an aquatic centre, and there are the igloos, the sledging area and the magic carpet of Les Pingouins.
