
Excitement levels are high at Ski Collection HQ. It's snowing.....
We have been super excited in the Ski Collection office with all the latest pictures of snow coming in, so here's a little round up of what our resorts are sharing! We will add more and update as soon as we spot them.
Avoriaz. This charming purpose-built car-free ski resort is 100% ski-in/ski-out. With outstanding scenery and plenty of amenities on the door-step, Avoriaz is a great choice for a ski holiday. First report of fresh snow 1st October 2018.
Val d'Isere. One of the most famous ski resorts in the world. The Val d'Isere and Tignes ski areas combine to make the huge ski area - there's 300km of pistes! First report of fresh snow 1st October 2018.
La Plagne. Found in the Savoie region of France, on the edge of the Vanoise National Park. It forms part of the massive Paradiski ski area which as well as La Plagne includes Les Arcs. First report of fresh snow 1st October 2018.
Val Thorens. This large, high altitude ski resort, twice awarded 'World's Best Ski Resort', boasts excellent skiing, a great range of accommodation and activities for all. First report of fresh snow 1st October 2018.
La Rosiere. This resort is a great choice for beginners and families. It's located in the heart of the Haute Tarentaise, on the Italian border. First report of fresh snow 1st October 2018.
Alpe d'Huez. Built on a sunny plateau above the tree line, Alpe d'Huez allows access to an impressive 250km of pistes and enjoys a lively atmosphere. First report of fresh snow 1st October 2018.
Les Arcs ski area is made up of 4 ski resorts: Arc 1600, Arc 1800, Arc 1950 and Arc 2000 - each a modern, purpose-built resort developed with superb winter skiing and enjoyment in mind. First report of fresh snow 1st October 2018.
Les Deux Alpes. Set high in picturesque Dauphiné (Osians) surrounded by dramatic mountain scenery. The slopes are on both sides of the town - you’re never far from a lift. First report of fresh snow 1st October 2018.
Tignes. Tignes is proud to be snowsure, with summer skiing on the glacier, one of Europe's highest ski areas. Tignes Les Brevieres is a quiet alternative to other resorts. First report of fresh snow 26th August 2018. Yes, first snow fell in August!
