La Rosière, part of the international Espace San Bernardo ski area, is best known for its sunshine, snow record and connection to La Thuile in Italy. During the 2017/18 season, La Rosière experienced record snow levels with over 10m of snow!

The family-friendly and ‘famille plus’ labelled resort is spending 15 million Euros on expanding the ski area for winter 2018/19. Plans include building five new red graded pistes, bringing the total to 198km of runs, and adding two new 6-seater lifts.
The Mont Valaisan area before developments
The addition of the new Mont Valaisan peak will raise the altitude to 2800m and create lots of secured new free-riding opportunities. Also, with a limit on beds the plans will expand La Rosière's ski area and keep its small resort feel and family-friendly atmosphere that brings loyal families back time and time again.
