Les Granges du Soleil

4* Les Granges du Soleil in La Plagne is nestled in the surroundings of La Plagne's ski area, in a superb location. Situated at in the heart of the Plagne Soleil area, 100m from the nearest shops, this ski residence is located on the ski slopes, offering ski-in/ski-out* opportunities.

Facing Mont Blanc and the Beaufortain massif, it benefits from great snow, a very tranquil setting, amazing views and great sunshine.

Les Granges du Soleil is a Directors' Choice residence.

Les Granges du Soleil is featured in Condé Nast Traveller 'Ski Report 2015', where they stated 'for families, big is beautiful, particularly when staying at the plush, self-catered Les Granges du Soleil apartments.' They highlighted the brilliant look and facilities at the apartments as 'a smattering of traditionally-styled chalets in a sun-drenched bowl above Plagne Centre'.

Les Granges du Soleil houses 83 self-catering ski apartments in 4 chalets, with a central chalet for the reception. It boasts 'Le Centre Ô des Cimes' Spa with free access to the indoor heated swimming pool (12m x 6m), hot tub, sauna, steam room and fitness room. Numerous facial or body treatments and massages are available to pre-book through Ski Collection (payable).

Facilities at Les Granges du Soleil include a cosy lounge area with open fireplace, launderette (payable), pool table (payable), luggage room, lifts, ski lockers with heated boot-dryers, covered parking (payable, max height 2m) and free Wi-Fi internet access in the main reception area and all apartments (1 free connection, additional connections payable). A bakery delivery service can be arranged for daily fresh bread and croissants to be delivered to reception (pre-order the day before by 18.00 for delivery from 08.00).

The loan of cots, highchairs, bottle warmers, socket guards, changing mats (request at time of booking, 1 cot & 1 highchair max per apartment), board games, raclette, pierrade and fondue sets is also possible (subject to availability). 

All the self-catering apartments at Les Granges du Soleil in La Plagne are fitted and furnished to a very high standard of comfort and convenience. They all have a fully equipped kitchen with 4-ring ceramic hob, extractor fan, multi-function oven, fridge, dishwasher, electric coffee maker, kettle, toaster and steamer. All apartments have satellite TV, telephone (calls payable), heated towel rail and hairdryer in the bathroom and a balcony.

Price includes (provisional):

Fully equipped apartment, bed linen with beds made on arrival (excluding sofa beds, but linen is provided), towels, 1 tea towel, end of stay cleaning (excluding kitchen area & dishes), Wi-Fi internet access at reception and in all apartments (free for first PC/handset, additional connections payable), satellite TV, ski lockers with heated boot-dryers and access to the indoor heated swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room & fitness room. For shorter stays of less than 7 nights, use our accommodation only calculation then divide the 7 night price by 5 and then multiply by the selected number of nights (min 3 nights).

  • Refundable breakage deposit: €400/apartment (credit card) - Please note no deposit, no keys!
