Les Balcons de Val Thorens consists of a cluster of 6 chalets forming its own hamlet, all buildings are traditionally built using wood and stone and offer exceptional panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. The apartments sleep from two to eighteen people, making them ideal for larger families or groups of friends.
Facilities at Les Balcons de Val Thorens include free access to the 900m2 Spa (open every day Monday-Friday 10.00-12.00 &15.00- 20.00) with indoor heated swimming pool (10m x 5m), hot tub, sauna and fitness room - Numerous massages, facial and body treatments are also available (payable); reception with lounge area and free Wi-Fi internet access, a Sherpa mini supermarket with bakery offering all the basics you will need, a bar with a panoramic terrace, private ski lockers & luggage room.
Les Balcons de Val Thorens has 2 restaurants. The L'Auberge des Balcons restaurant and bar offering Savoyard specialties, where half-board or 7 night dinner options are available (pre-bookable) and the La Cabane restaurant offering fine dining, where a 7 night dinner option is available (pre-bookable).
Val Thorens is a semi-pedestrian ski resort, meaning you can drive through the resort and unload your luggage at your chosen apartment or hotel and then you must park your vehicle in the residences car park or one of the public car parks in the resort, you are not allowed to park in the street. Les Balcons de Val Thorens has underground parking (payable, max height 2.10m) or you can use one of the public outdoor or covered car parks (payable & pre-bookable).

All the apartments at Les Balcons de Val Thorens are fitted and furnished to a good standard of comfort and convenience. The interior décor is traditional with the use of solid wood and rustic features. They have a fully equipped kitchenette with 4-ring ceramic hob, pyrolytic oven, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, fridge-freezer and filter coffee maker. All apartments have satellite TV, a telephone (calls payable) and a balcony. The larger apartments with 3 bedrooms or more also have the added benefit of an Austrian wood burner in the living area.

The resort centre, shops and sports centre are only 5 minutes walk or a short shuttle-bus ride away from Le Hameau du Kashmir ski apartments.

Chalets Cocoon is a small, exclusive residence of just 10 self-catering apartments offering superb views and ski-in/ski-out convenience. Beautiful interior boast designer touches and facilities include a swimming lane and private jacuzzis. Chalets Cocoon is ideally situated in the Balcons area of Val Thorens, just 300m from the centre of the resort. Chalets Cocoon opened in December 2018.
Les Chalets de Rosaël in Val Thorens is located in the newly developed area ‘Les Balcons’, at the foot of the ski slopes, offering direct access to the slopes from the residence. The resort centre is a short walk away (500m).

4* Chalet des Neiges Hermine in Val Thorens is located only 200m from the slopes, offering doorstep skiing and the possibility to ski back to within 100m of the main entrance of the residence via the Retour/Plein Sud slope.
3* Superior Village Montana is located in the quiet and sunny lower part of Val Thorens (Soleil Area), directly on the ski slopes (snow and level depending). The residence is adjacent to the Ecole de Ski Francais (ESF) ski school and the children's snow garden and just 200m from the resort centre.

This south facing residence is situated in the quiet 'Soleil' area of Val Thorens, within 5 to 10 minutes walking to the Ecole de Ski Francais (ESF) ski school, shops and restaurants on Rue du Soleil.

Les Neiges Eternelles in Val Thorens is a unique and luxurious 4* ski chalet perfectly located, with direct access onto the ski slopes from the chalet (snow and level depending). It is located opposite the Funitel de Péclet gondola, close to the shops and restaurants of the Soleil area of Val Thorens.
This very popular French-run club hotel enjoys an ideal ski-in, ski-out location on the slopes, and yet right in the centre of the resort; access to the lifts is via a short blue run down to the Cairn gondola or the beginners’ area with the Campagnoles and Musaraignes magic carpets.
The 5* Hotel Le Fitz Roy enjoys possibly the best ski-in/ski-out location in Val Thorens, right on the slopes (and an easy ski down to the lifts and ski school meeting point), whilst also being right in the centre, on the Place de l’Eglise, with all the bars, restaurants and shops on the doorstep. This exclusive hotel was the first luxury hotel built in the resort some 20 years ago and was completely renovated in 2013.

4* Hotel Les 3 Vallées in Val Thorens is ideally located at the heart of the resort in the Péclet area (Grande Rue), close to all the shops and just 50m from the ski slopes (100m to return).
Completely renovated for the 2016-17 ski season, the 4* hotel Fahrenheit Seven Val Thorens, it enjoys an ideal ski-in/ski-out location (snow and level depending) in a quiet part of Val Thorens, just 150m from the centre of the resort and 100m from the nearest lift and ski school meeting point.
Hotel Pashmina le Refuge is one the resort's latest 5* luxury hotels. Located towards the top of the resort in a quiet location, yet just 150m from the resort centre, and right on the pistes, the hotel offers ski-in/ski-out convenience. This beautifully designed and stunningly decorated hotel offers a true luxury experience. It's home to the Michelin-starred Les Explorateurs restaurant and has a range of dining options as well as superb facilities.
The highly popular 3* Hotel le Sherpa enjoys a wonderful position in the quiet Plein Sud area at the top of Val Thorens (on Rue de Gebroulaz) with spectacular views over the resort and its peaks. Ski convenience is excellent: you put your skis on just 30m from the front door and ski through the resort for about a minute to get to the ski school meeting point (snow and level depending).
