The recently built Les Balcons de Val Thorens Platinium in Val Thorens is located in the higher part of the resort, in a tranquil and sunny setting. This prestigious residence is south facing and located directly on the slopes offering ski-in/ski-out opportunities (snow and level depending) and is 500m from the Val Thorens resort centre.
This attractive residence is built in typical chalet-style, using traditional wood and stone. Facilities at Les Balcons Platinium include free access to the 900m2 Spa of the main Les Balcons residence (open Sun - Fri 16.00 - 20.00) with indoor heated swimming pool (10m x 5m), Jacuzzi, sauna and fitness room plus numerous massages, facial and body treatments are also available (payable), free access to the private sauna, solarium, steam room and Jacuzzi within Les Balcons Platinium residence, reception lounge area with free Wi-Fi internet access, a luggage room with individual lockers (located in Chalet 2), a mini Sherpa supermarket with bakery offering all the basics you will need and a bar with a panoramic terrace. Each apartment has a private ski locker with boot dryer and a wired internet connection (Ethernet cable not provided).
Les Balcons Platinium has 2 restaurants. The L'Auberge des Balcons restaurant and bar offering traditional French cuisine and Savoyard specialities, where half board or 7 night dinner options are available and the La Cabane restaurant offering fine Savoyard dining, where a 7 night dinner option is available (pre-bookable).
Val Thorens is a semi-pedestrian ski resort, meaning you can drive through the resort and unload your luggage at your chosen apartment or hotel and then you must park your vehicle in the residences car park or one of the public car parks in the resort, you are not allowed to park in the street. Les Balcons de Val Thorens Platinium has underground parking (payable, max height 2.10m) or you can use one of the public outdoor or covered car parks (payable & pre-bookable).

All the modern and stylish apartments at Les Balcons de Val Thorens Platinium are fitted and furnished to a very high standard of comfort and convenience. The interior décor is traditional and sophisticated, with the use of solid wood and rustic features. They have a fully equipped kitchenette with 4-ring ceramic hob, pyrolytic oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, electric and Dolche Gusto coffee makers.
All apartments have HD satellite TV (HDMI & USB), Hi-Fi system, wired internet connection (Ethernet cable not provided) and a telephone with direct line (calls payable) and a balcony with panoramic views of Val Thorens. The beds are made on arrival and the end of stay cleaning is included. The larger apartments with 3 bedrooms or more also have the added benefit of an Austrian woodburner in the living area.

3 bedroom prestige apartment sleeping 6-8 (c 115 m2) Ground floor: 1 bedroom with a double bed & 2 bedrooms each with 2 single beds (all with en-suite bathroom with whirlpool bath & WC). Upper floor: living area with pull-out sofa bed & Austrian wood burner, shower-room & separate WC.
5 bedroom apartment sleeping 10-12 (c 150m2) Ground floor: living area with sofa bed & wood burner, 1 bedroom with double bed & 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, shower-room & separate WC. 1st Floor: 3 bedrooms each with 2 single beds and sauna with shower. All bedrooms have en-suites with whirlpool bath & WC.
6 bedroom apartment sleeping 12-14 (c 187m2) 3 split levels: living area with sofa bed & wood burner, 6 bedrooms with 2 single beds. Separate shower room as well as sauna with shower. All bedrooms have en-suites with whirlpool bath & WC.
Please note: for any apartments/chalets that feature bunk beds, sleeping in the top bunk is not recommended for children under the age of 6 years old.
