The hotel enjoys a truly unique position, some 800m above the resort, on a sunny plateau with breathtaking 360° views. The Refuge de Solaise is the ultimate ski-in/ski-out hotel, perfect for keen skiers, especially couples – no queuing for the early lift, and certainly no problem being the first to sample the early morning powder!
From the resort, the Refuge de Solaise is accessible only by the Solaise gondola (and evenings are always spent at the hotel); as this lift opens only between 09:00 and 16:30, we strongly advise arrival in resort by early-mid-afternoon. Most evenings are spent in the hotel. The gondola is planned to be open Sundays (time TBC) and Wednesdays evening (19h-22h45) so that clients may enjoy nights out in the village.

All 16 bedrooms are very comfortable and spacious and are tastefully decorated in contemporary style. All have a double bed or 2 singles (please specify your preference when booking); panoramic views; shower (classic rooms) or bath and shower (all other types) and wc; hairdryer, TV, telephone, minibar and safe; all are no-smoking; possibility of a loan of baby cot (child under 3yrs, free and subject to availability).

The Penthouse Apartment is available for night stays, arriving Sunday. Allegedly, the highest apartment in Europe!

The luxurious 5* Hotel Avenue Lodge is a highly fashionable boutique hotel, enjoying an unbeatable central location in Val d’Isère’s main street, whilst also being just 150m from the Solaise and Bellevarde lifts and ski school meeting point.
4* Les Chalets du Jardin Alpin in Val d'Isère is located in a tranquil setting of the La Legettaz area, at the foot of the Solaise ski slopes offering doorstep skiing possibilities (snow and level depending) and is half a mile from the resort centre (800m).
The Avancher Lodge is a small residence of just 7 apartments, adjoining the Hotel Avancher (***superior) and enjoying the same ideal location in a quiet part of the resort on the Avenue du Prariond, yet just 450m from the resort centre, lifts and ski school meeting point, and 350m from the slopes; the shuttle bus stop is 50m away.

Completely renovated in 2017 and tastefully decorated in contemporary style, this 140m2 very cosy Chalet le Cabrini offers a high standard of comfort, as well as one of the best locations in Val d’Isère, being at the foot of the slopes, 200m from the Bellevarde Express and 400m from the Solaise Express and the ski school meeting point.
The 3* Hôtel La Savoyarde is a traditional, chalet-style hotel, owned and very professionally run for many years by the friendly Marie family. It enjoys a very convenient, central, though quiet location between the main street of the resort and the snow front.
The very popular Kandahar is a friendly, very professionally managed 3* superior hotel, enjoying an excellent, central location on the resort’s high street, the Avenue Olympique, with a vast choice of shops, bars and restaurants on the doorstep, whilst providing quick access to the Bellevarde and Solaise lifts and ski school meeting point, all just 250m away.
