Vail Lodge
The luxury Vail Lodge, opening December 2021, is a very welcome addition to the resort’s high-end accommodation offering. The south-facing residence enjoys a ski-in/ski-out location on the Santons ski slope in the sunny Legettaz sector. This small residence of 14 spacious apartments is very tastefully decorated in a relaxed, contemporary style.

Located within a residential area of Val d’Isere, the shops and restaurants are a short walk from the residence (500m). The residence has a beautiful view on the Bellevarde.

The residence is formed of 2 connected chalets with a lift and each has 5 levels.

Facilities at Vail Lodge include:

  • A reception,
  • Ski room with individual lockers,
  • Luggage room,
  • Underground car park (56€/week, payable locally),
  • Concierge service.

Free loan of raclette/fondue sets, board games, cot/high chair, ironing board, subject to availability.

All the large and spacious apartments are very tastefully decorated in a contemporary style; they are very comfortable, well equipped and beautifully appointed. They all have a living area with satellite TV and direct line telephone (payable locally); fully equipped open plan kitchen with ceramic hob, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster, juicer and washing machine, balcony. Welcome pack in the apartments on arrival. Bathroom with heated towel rail and hairdryer. TV in the bedrooms with double beds.

Fully equipped apartment, bed linen with beds made on arrival, towels (with mid-week change), TV, wi-fi in the apartment and end of stay cleaning (excluding kitchen area & dishes); cleaning kit, welcome kit.

Payable locally:

  • Refundable breakage deposit: €2000-4000/apartment (cash or credit card),
  • Local Tourist Tax: €4.40/pp 18yrs+/day (for guidance only),
  • Optional underground parking: €56/car/week (subject to availability, max height 2m),
  • Small well-behaved dogs only: €50-75/week.

Price is unless specified, per accommodation, per week, in £s Sterling, including a Standard Eurotunnel crossing from Folkestone to Calais with a car with Free FlexiPlus upgrade on selected dates on a self-catering basis. A supplement will apply for travel on certain peak dates. Other routes and operators available (including P&O routes from Hull to Rotterdam plus Brittany Ferries route from Portsmouth to Caen). 4* Les Chalets du Jardin Alpin in Val d'Isère is located in a tranquil setting of the La Legettaz area, at the foot of the Solaise ski slopes offering doorstep skiing possibilities (snow and level depending) and is half a mile from the resort centre (800m).

Chalet Le Cabrini

Completely renovated in 2017 and tastefully decorated in contemporary style, this 140m2 very cosy Chalet le Cabrini offers a high standard of comfort, as well as one of the best locations in Val d’Isère, being at the foot of the slopes, 200m from the Bellevarde Express and 400m from the Solaise Express and the ski school meeting point.

The excellent Hotel Avancher (and the adjoining Résidence Avancher Lodge****) enjoys an ideal location in a quiet part of the resort on the Avenue du Prariond, yet just 450m from the resort centre, lifts and ski school meeting point, and 350m from the slopes; the shuttle bus stop is 50m away and it is normally possible to ski back to within 80m of the hotel, snow conditions permitting.
