Les Chalets du Jardin Alpin is made up of 24 self-catering ski apartments spread over 2 traditional style chalets, all built in wood and stone with slate roofs. The apartments are south or west facing, with views of the Massif de Bellevarde and/or La Vallée du Manchet.
Facilities at Les Chalets du Jardin Alpin include free access to the newly built spa with sauna and steam room, covered parking (payable), reception open 7 days a week, ski lockers with heated boot racks, laundry room (payable), left luggage room with changing rooms and showers, free WiFi internet access (in all apartments), breakfast can be purchased (served at reception) and a bakery delivery service for fresh bread and croissants each morning (payable, pre-order at reception the day before).
For guests staying at the Chalets du Jardin Alpin, we are able to book lift passes (full Tignes-Val d'Isere area only) at very competitive prices: please enquire for details and prices.
Games, pressure cookers, electric fruit juice-presses, blenders, pancake makers, raclette & fondue sets, irons and ironing boards (all subject to availability). Cots are available on request.
All the stylish apartments at Les Chalets du Jardin Alpin in Val d'Isere are fully fitted and furnished to a high standard of comfort and convenience. They have a fully equipped kitchenette with 2 ovens (microwave/grill & traditional oven), induction cooker with extractor fan, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, and toaster. All apartments have a flat-screen satellite TV, telephone with direct line (calls payable), mini-safe, hairdryers, vacuum cleaner, clothes horse, and a furnished balcony or terrace (west or south facing) with stunning views. Please note: some apartments are split level and may have bedrooms under the eaves.

The luxury Chalet Izia, which opened in 2019, is a very welcome addition to the resort’s high-end accommodation offering. The residence enjoys the ultimate ski-in/ski-out location in the Legettaz sector, right next to the renowned red “M” piste (which becomes a blue heading down to the snow front, an easy one minute’s ski, with its nursery, ski school meeting point and main lifts). All 51 spacious apartments are very tastefully decorated in a relaxed, contemporary style.
The luxury Vail Lodge, opening December 2021, is a very welcome addition to the resort’s high-end accommodation offering. The south-facing residence enjoys a ski-in/ski-out location on the Santons ski slope in the sunny Legettaz sector. This small residence of 14 spacious apartments is very tastefully decorated in a relaxed, contemporary style.
The Avancher Lodge is a small residence of just 7 apartments, adjoining the Hotel Avancher (***superior) and enjoying the same ideal location in a quiet part of the resort on the Avenue du Prariond, yet just 450m from the resort centre, lifts and ski school meeting point, and 350m from the slopes; the shuttle bus stop is 50m away.
Completely renovated in 2017 and tastefully decorated in contemporary style, this 140m2 very cosy Chalet le Cabrini offers a high standard of comfort, as well as one of the best locations in Val d’Isère, being at the foot of the slopes, 200m from the Bellevarde Express and 400m from the Solaise Express and the ski school meeting point.
The luxurious 5* Hotel Avenue Lodge is a highly fashionable boutique hotel, enjoying an unbeatable central location in Val d’Isère’s main street, whilst also being just 150m from the Solaise and Bellevarde lifts and ski school meeting point.
The 3* Hôtel La Savoyarde is a traditional, chalet-style hotel, owned and very professionally run for many years by the friendly Marie family. It enjoys a very convenient, central, though quiet location between the main street of the resort and the snow front.
The very popular Kandahar is a friendly, very professionally managed 3* superior hotel, enjoying an excellent, central location on the resort’s high street, the Avenue Olympique, with a vast choice of shops, bars and restaurants on the doorstep, whilst providing quick access to the Bellevarde and Solaise lifts and ski school meeting point, all just 250m away.
The excellent Hotel Avancher (and the adjoining Résidence Avancher Lodge****) enjoys an ideal location in a quiet part of the resort on the Avenue du Prariond, yet just 450m from the resort centre, lifts and ski school meeting point, and 350m from the slopes; the shuttle bus stop is 50m away and it is normally possible to ski back to within 80m of the hotel, snow conditions permitting.
For the winter 19-20 season, the former lift station on the Tête de Solaise has been skilfully and lovingly converted into a brand new luxury hotel– at 2551m, the highest in the French Alps: the Refuge de Solaise is the most exciting hotel development in Val d’Isère this coming winter, and probably one of the most challenging and ambitious in the Tarentaise for many years.
